 Just An Update

It's been a while since I last blogged, so I decided to come back and update you all on whats been going on with me.

This week went by fairly smooth and quickly. I've been keeping my word and staying away from negative people who I just don't want to be associated with anymore, and let me tell you, it's been GREAT. It feels like a huge weight has just been lifted off my shoulders. It's just been a nice stress-FREE week for me.

For the past two weekends, I've been keeping myself busy by doing a lot of random stuff with friends. This weekend was a lot of fun. On thursday, a friend and I decided to hang out after school and we ended up going to a lot of random places to hang out. We even went so far as to going to a furniture store and just chillin' hahaha (dont ask, please), but it wasn't all that bad. We also went to a car dealership and I got to test drive a Mercedes S-500, that's a hota** car.

But yesterday had to be the high light of my weekend. Two of my friends and I decided to take a little road trip to a town in Alaska called Wasilla. It's about 45 minutes to an hour away from Anchorage, and the ride going there was so much fun. When we got there, we went to a restaurant called Hacienda and had dinner, went to a Wal-Mart they have out there(haha again, dont ask), and then went back into Anchorage for a party our friend was having that night.

That trip was just a lot of fun. One of the friends that went was a friend I haven't talked to in forever. It was one of those situations were you kinda just grow apart from someone for know apparant reason. But that little road trip really helped to patch things up with us and we're actually planning on taking another road trip next weekend too.

In a past blog I wrote called "Working Towards My Goals" I stated that I was going to start moving towards goals I've set for myself and really get focused on accomplishing those goals. Now, I haven't had the chance to get a good start on that, but I have been looking around for some classes for media art and I think I've found a good one that I want sign up for. So hopefully in the next two weeks, I'll have everything figured out and good to go.

I seriously need to start saving my money. On friday I had about 40-50 dollars on me and all of that sh** was be gone by the end of the day, and then today I ain't had money to spend what-so-ever haha.

Anyway, there's a little update for everyone. Post your thoughts.

 A New Outlook

So last week was my first official week blogging here at blogstream, actually blogging ever and it was mad cool. I got to get a lot of things out that I would usually just keep to myself and let bottle up until I'd explode. It's just a lot of fun. But that's not the purpose of this blog, the purpose is...well, just read it and find out.

Now before I get started with this blog I just have to let something out. It's really annoying when people criticize or down talks something that you have that they don't or can't get. I borrowed one of my family members car this weekend (my truck didn't have any gas in it and I only fill it up on sundays, another example of my "OCD" haha). Now, this family member drives a 2006 Carolla and my friend made this comment like "Oh, you drivin' the sh**ty Carolla?" and this person who's making this comment drives some old beat up 1960 something jeep...ok, when you get a car thats at least in the 90's, then you can come and say something, but until then, dont front like you driving a porche.

Now back to the topic at hand...

This weekend was really crazy. I got to do somethings I've been debating about doing for sometime now, not because anyone else was doing it or anything, but because I wanted to try it for myself. Now I told one my friends what I was going to be doing this weekend and they were like " Oh that's stupid" and "You shouldn't do it" and stuff like that. But really, it all comes down to what I wanted to do and me making the decision for myself. Not saying I don't care about my friends opinions or anything but if it's something I really want to do, than I'm gonna go for it, regardless of what others say. And that's what I did. So that was pretty cool. I may not be doing that again anytime soon though hahaha, but I got to step outside the box for once.

Also, this weekend was just a really good awakening to somethings for me. I use to care a lot about pointless sh** that was holding me back from seeing the good in life and how fortunate I am. Things like: what people think of me, friends who weren't really friends, and how people looked at me. I always seemed to have to put on a front for some people because I didn't want that particular person to really know "me". I felt like if that person really knew me, then things would change, and I'm not the kind of person who adapts to change very well. A lot of people look at me and think I'm the same person from way back when but when really I've changed a lot and a lot of those people or "friends" expect me to still be that same old Tyler.

I use to try to hold on to friends who just weren't interested in being friends anymore and wasted a lot of time trying to glue pieces back together that would eventually fall back off again. I use to care a lot about how I was being viewed. The good guy, the bad guy, the funny guy, whatever. I just let those type of thoughts or comments run my life for too long and this weekend really helped me to see that it's not about all that. It's just really about...me, and how I see myself and what I know is the truth about me, what kind of a friend I am and what kind of a friend I deserve to have. And by realizing this, it opend my eyes to see how many good people I have already and that I dont care about what other people think of me.

It feels like a whole new beginning when you just push all that negative sh** out your life and just focus on the good. I woke up this morning without any worries or anything, I was in a really good mood (now mind you I'm not a morning person at all) and things were just going really good for me. It's been like that all day.

Anyone who's dealing with a lot of negative sh** in their life right now, I just wanna say, let it go. Don't focus on it. Life is to short to focus on the bad all the time and once you do let it go, your outlook on a lot of things will start to look better.

Post your thoughts.

 Minding Your Own

Hey everyone.

Today...huh...no, this whole week has just been one thing after another I swear. Why do people find it necessary to always be in everyone elses business but their own? Seriously. It seems like everyone loves to be all up in mine 24/7. Why does what I do in my life seem to concern or interest people so much? Not saying I don't like people being interested in what I have to say or what I do, because I do. Just the things I don't find necessary to put on blast. The things I want to keep to myself are for some reason the ONLY things people like to talk sh** about. Who I choose to date or not date is my business, NOT yours. Who I choose to hang out with is my business, NOT yours. How I choose to spend my time is my business, NOT yours. Obviously what you have to say doesn't mean sh** to me, so why care?

Anyway, post your thoughts.

MEDIA: Shia LaBeouf Wanted For Arrest

I know I had said in my last blog that "Working Towards My Goals" was going to be the last blog for the night, but I was suffering the net and came across an article written by Josh Grossberg found on Eonline stating that actor Shia LaBeouf (who starred in Transformers, Disturbia, & Holes) is wanted for arrest. Thought I would post the article for everyone who likes media talk.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

"SHIA'S SMOKING WARRANT"
by Josh Grossberg

You can go ahead and add "arrest warrants" to the list of smoking-related ills.

Just ask Shia LaBeouf.

Thanks to his nicotine habit, the rising star is wanted by the cops after skipping a court hearing to answer a ticket for unlawful smoking.

A warrant was issued Tuesday for the arrest of the Transformers star after neither he nor his attorney turned up in a Burbank, Calif., courtroom, a court clerk confirmed. (View the document.)

According to TMZ, the 21-year-old thesp was busted for puffing illegally on the sidewalk outside a gift store called Skyblupink.

Arraignment was scheduled for 8 a.m. for the misdemeanor offense. The judge issued a $1,000 bench warrant once he determined LaBeouf was missing in action.

The actor's rep, Melissa Kates, was unavailable to comment, and his current whereabouts are unknown. (LaBeouf was spotted by E! Online's Party Girl at the Hollywood hotspot Goa over the weekend.)

This isn't the first time LaBeouf has run afoul of the law for minor infractions.

In November, LaBeouf was tagged for a misdemeanor trespassing charge after he refused to leave a Chicago Walgreens. The criminal count was dropped a month later, after the drugstore chain refused to proceed with the case.

LaBeouf next appears on the big screen in the hotly anticipated Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, swinging into theaters everywhere on May 22.
